Murchadh Iain Mhurchaidh
Murdo (1869-1933) was the son of John Macleod and Ann Mackenzie, 6 Balallan.
At St Giles, Edinburgh, in 1917, he married widow Mrs Janet Hunter, nee Harrower from Lochgelly, Fife. At this time they were living in Inverkeithing. Janet had two children Charles Stuart Hunter and Janet Hunter. The family settled at 6 Balallan and they moved to Fort William in the early 1930s.
