43869: Janet Hunter
Janet (1910-1981) was the daughter of Charles Stuart Hunter and Janet Harrower.
On the 12th of January 1917, her widowed mother married Murdo Macleod, of 6 Balallan, and the couple settled at 6 Balallan. In the early 1930’s the family moved to Fort William. It is not clear if Janet was still living in the paternal home by that point.
On the 31st of October 1938 she married Malcolm Macleod, of 7 Balallan, at the United Free Church in Fort William. Both were living at 23 Abrach Road where they settled after their marriage.
