Charles Stuart (1907-1976) was the son of Charles Hunter and Janet Harrower.
His mother’s second husband was Murdo Macleod of 6 Balallan. In the early 1930s his mother and step father moved to Fort William, but it is not clear if he was still living in the parental home at this time.
He settled at 23 Abrach Road, Inverlochy where he was resident until his death. He was employed as a furnaceman. He never married.
