43964: Kenneth Macdonald
Coinneach Dhòmhnaill Dhonnchaidh
Kenneth (1831-1907) was a son of Donald Macdonald and Catherine Mackenzie, 6 Old Orinsay.
His father died in 1839 and when Old Orinsay was cleared in 1843 the family lived with his uncle Murdo at 15 Crossbost.
The family moved to 6 Crossbost.
In 1854, he married his first cousin Mary Mackenzie, 26 Balallan. Kenneth and Mary settled at 8 Balallan, where they had two of their ten children.
The family later moved to 7 Lemreway. Kenneth was widowed in 1901.
