Domhnall Chalum Ruaidh
Donald (1801-1893) was a son of Malcolm and Marion Mackinnon, 7 Old Orinsay. His father died before 1841 and in 1843 Old Orinsay was cleared and Donald and his mother were removed to Marvig.
In Lochs, in 1844, he married widow Catherine Macdonald, (nee Mackenzie), 6 Crossbost. Donald and Catherine lived at 6 Crossbost and they had a son, Donald. The family moved to 8 Balallan around 1850.
