Janet (1885-1969) was the daughter of Alexander Smith and Isabella Maciver, 31 Leurbost. In 1920 Janet married Reverend Murdo Macleod of 10 Balallan. The couple spent many years at Pairc Free Church, Gravir, and had five children. The couple retired to 10 Balallan in 1958.
