4666: Donald Maclennan
Donald "Domhnall a Mhaighstear" was born and brought up in Kirkibost and, like many of the other men in Bernera, he was an able fisherman. One of his boats, the "Mia Cara" was built from wood reclaimed from the boat "Mabel Scott"
He was married to Mary nee Macaulay, 4 Hacklete and lived first at 3 Kirkibost then Achmore; they raised four children.
