46792: Malcolm Macleod, Reverend

Malcolm, son of Angus Macleod and Ann Kennedy, 20b Balallan studied at the University and New College, Edinburgh. He was ordained minister at Croy in 1893 but resigned due to ill health in 1895. Shortly after, he emigrated to Ontario, Canada and became minister in Marsboro. He was married to Catherine Macleod, who may have been from Ontario.

His nephew, Murdo Macleod formerly of 10 Balallan and 4 Kershader died while visiting his brother John, in Graniteville, Vermont and Malcolm and nephew John accompanied the remains back to Lake Megantic in Canada.
