47075: Ann Macleod

Ann Macleod (born 1907) was a daughter of Angus Macleod and Ann Chisholm, 12 Cromore and  5 Torostay. She had a twin sister, Kenina  They were born on 1st April 1907 but their births were not registered until the end of May 1907. They were known as the Torastaidh Twins. She worked in domestic service and also at various herring ports. 

In Inverness in 1940 she married Donald Mackenzie of Hilton, Fearn. Ann and Donald settled in London and they had two daughters. In the 1970s they moved to Hilton.
