Murdo Macleod

Murdo Macleod

Murdo Macleod was a son of John and Annabella Macleod, 12 Cromore.

He served as a Pipe Major in the Army from 1921 to 1927.

In Lochs, in 1930, he married Marion Smith, 28a Leurbost. Murdo and Marion settled at 28a Leurbost and they had three children.

Murdo joined the Royal Naval Reserve at the outbreak of War and was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal in 1941.
