Murdo (1831-1875) was a son of John Macleod and Catherine Macaulay, 18 Cromore.
After the death of his parents he was living with his sister Gormelia at 2 Cromore in 1851.
He married Annabella Smith, 28 Leurbost in 1852. Murdo and Annabella settled at 18 Cromore and they had eight children.
