Angus Smith (1888-1934) was a son of John Smith and Ann Kennedy, 19a Cromore.
He enrolled in the Royal Naval Reserve and served in the Royal Navy in the First World War. His name is mentioned in Loyal Lewis: Roll of Honour 1914-18.
In Stornoway, in 1915, he married Margaret Macfarlane, 10 Marvig. Angus and Margaret settled at 34 Caros, Cromore and they had eleven children.
