Murchadh Aonghais Mhurchaidh
Murdo (born 1868) was a son of Angus Macdonald and Catherine Smith, 23 Cromore.
On September 14, 1893 he enrolled in the Royal Naval Reserve, Service Number G4406 and re-enrolled under H3409. His record indicates that he was 5 ft 7 in tall with blue eyes, a dark complexion and two small round scars on his forehead. Murdo was a fisherman on Stornoway registered fishing boats.
In 1896 he married Catherine Macleod, 21 Cromore. Murdo and Catherine settled at 19b Cromore and they had seven children.
