Donald Macarthur

Donald Macarthur (1883-1914)  was a son of John and Mary Macarthur, 20 Cromore.

He served int the First World War with the 1st Battalion Scots Guards and lost his life, aged 31. Donald's name is commemorated on the Ypres Menin Gate Memorial, Panel 11, Loyal Lewis, the Pairc War Memorial and the Lewis War Memorial in Stornoway.
