John (1803-1874) was a son of Roderick Kennedy and Mary Macleod, 11 Old Eishken.
In Lochs, in 1826, he married Anne Macleod, Cromore. John and Anne settled at 17 Cromore and they had seven children.
John was widowed and in 1853 he married Margaret Smith, 24 Cromore. John and Margaret had two children.
