Malcolm Kennedy (1828-1895) was a son of John Kennedy and Anne Macleod, 17 Cromore.
In Lochs, in 1853, he married widow Mary Macleod, nee Smith, 24 Cromore. Malcolm and Mary settled at 23 Cromore and they had seven children.
Malcolm was widowed in 1868 and that year remarried to Margaret Mackenzie, 19 Crossbost. Malcolm and Margaret had two children.
