John (1834-1857) was a son of Donald Nicolson and Anne Maciver, 8 Old Eishken.
Old Eishken was cleared in 1835 and the family moved to 14 Old Gravir. In the 1852 lotting the family moved to 22 Gravir.
He died aged 22.
