Barabal Ruairidh Iain

Barbara  (born 1877) was a daughter of Roderick Macleod and Mary Finlayson, 28 Cromore.

At Blythwsood, Glasgow, in 1922, she married  Kenneth Maclean, 15 Gravir. Barbara and Kenneth lived at 28 Cromore until they emigrated to the United States of America. It is believed that Barbara emigrated on 26th September 1923 on the SS California. Kenneth did not emigrate until 1927.

Barbara and Kenneth settled at 1101 Lexington Avenue, New York and later moved to 275 Cypress Avenue, the Bronx. The couple lived in New York until 18 April 1953 when they returned to Lewis for a seven month holiday and lived at 28 Cromore.

The couple returned to New York on 20 November 1953 and were living at 1649 St Nicholas Street, New York.

Barbara was widowed in 1954.
