49532: Catherine Maclennan

Catherine (1835-1920) was a daughter of Donald Maclennan and Ann Macaulay, 24 Valtos and later 38 Cliff. Although her birth/baptism was registered in the Old Parish Register in 1835, she is not enumerated with the rest of the family in 1841. It was common at that time for parents with large families to give up one of their children to be fostered by a relative and this may have been the case in this instance.

Catherine was the second wife of Alexander Maciver, 12 Kneep and they had four children.
