Margaret (1919-1997) was a daughter of Donald Nicolson 16 Lemreway and Katie Ann Macaskill, 12 Gravir. The family lived at 16 Lemreway and 12 Gravir and after the Landraiding moved to 7 Orinsay in 1921.
Her mother died in 1926, her siblings all died and her father drowned in 1945.
At Partick, in 1946, she married Hector Macaulay, 31 Balallan. Margaret and Hector initially lived in Glasgow and later moved to 33 Balallan. The couple had five children.
