Malcolm (1827-1901) was a son of Norman Macmillan and Helen Montgomery, 8 Old Eishken.
Old Eishken was cleared in 1835 and the family moved to Cleiter and later to 32 Balallan.
In Wick, in 1863, Malcolm married Mary Munro from Latheron, Wick. Malcolm and Mary settled at Dale Cottages, Hallkirk and they had at least seven children.
