Catherine (born c1810) was a daughter of Donald Macleod and Ann Macleod, Brenish. She was married to John Mackay at Druim a Gharraidh, Hacklet before relocating to Callanish. They had six children: Donald born c1840 (1851 Census) Angus baptised 30-11-1841, Ann baptised 10-02-1843, Betsy born c1848 (1851 Census), John baptised 15-02-1845. and John born c1850 (1851 census).
