Alexina (1920- 2002) was a daughter of Alexander Mackinnon and Mary Ann Macleod, 1 Garyvard. The family home was built on the foreshore at Garyvard and was named Seahaven.
She was a teacher and at one time taught at Kershader School.
At Inverness, in 1951 she married Roderick Macmillan, 11 Orinsay. Alexina and Roderick settled at 11 Orinsay and they had four children.
The family moved to Stornoway in the 1980s.
