Iseabail Iain Alasdair
Isabella (1885-1972) was a daughter of John Macleod and Ann Macrae, 4 Garyvard.
She emigrated to Canada in 1910 and married Norman Thomson formerly of Steinish, Stornoway. Isabella and Norman settled at Calgary, Alberta and they had two sons.
Her sister, Murdina died after the birth of her son, Donald John Macleod. Isabella travelled to Prince Albert and brought Donald John home to live with her family. John's sister, Margaret came from Kershader to care for their nieces, Mary Ann and Murdina. Later the girls came to live with Isabella and family to continue their education.
In 1945 the couple were living at 1520 11th Avenue, Calgary. Isabella was widowed in 1948.
