Bell Ann (born 1915) was a daughter of Colin Mackenzie and Christina Ann Macleod, Peru. Her father remained working in Peru and her mother came home to Garyvard to have Bell Ann.
Her mother died the following year and Bell Ann was brought up by her grandparents. When her grandmother died in 1938 Bell Ann went to Glasgow and worked as an Auxiliary Nurse. Her father remained in Peru, married a local girl and had two daughters.
Bell Ann married Duncan Macleod from the Isle of Skye with connections to St Kilda. The couple settled in Allison Street, Glasgow.
