Malcolm, born 1924, was a son of Malcolm and Mary nee Macdonald, 24 Tobson/Valasay. He remained in the family home after his marriage to Joan nee Macdonald, 8 Tobson until the late 1960's when the family relocated to Helensburgh. They later moved back to Lewis and lived in Stornoway until retirement when they returned to Bernera (5 Breaclete - after a few years moving from the original croft house to a new house their son had built on that croft)
