Norman, born 1885, was a son of Angus and Mary nee Macdonald, 13 Tobson. He served in the Royal Naval Reserve during WW1 and took part in the Antwerp expedition; torpedoed on 'Otway' and holds Mons Star.

'Norrie' remained on the family croft and was married to Georgina nee Maciver from Garenin; no issue. They were one of the last families in Bernera to live in a 'blackhouse'.
