Angus, born 1879, was a son of James and Henrietta nee Macdonald, 16a Tobson. He assumed tenancy of the croft and remained there after his marriage to Dolina nee Macdonald 'Dollag Aonghais Chaluim', 17 Tobson.

They had three children - two dying in infancy. Dolina died having contracted measles whilst pregnant with their fourth child.

Angus served in the R. N. R. during WW1; discharged 1915.
