Catherine Macaulay (1822- 1905) was a daughter of John Macaulay and Christina Nicolson 1 Old Lemreway.
In Lochs, in 1840, she married John Mackenzie, 9 Old Orinsay. Catherine and John settled at 9 Old Orinsay where they had one of their eight children.
The family were removed to 4 Crossbost in 1843.
