John Martin (1803-1879) was a son of Donald Martin and Effie Macleod, 7 Old Orinsay.
In 1830 he married Henrietta Macleod. John and Henrietta were Cottars at 7 Old Orinsay and they had six children.
The family were removed to 21 Crossbost in 1843.
