Roderick Mackenzie (1830-1903) was a son of Murdo Mackenzie and Margaret Macleod 1 Old Orinsay.
The family were removed to 25 Crossbost in 1843.
In Stornoway, in 1858, he married Catherine Maciver, 22 Upper Bayble. Roderick and Catherine settled at 22b Upper Bayble and they had seven children.
