John (1903-1964) was a son of Donald Macmillan and Christina Macleod, 23 Gravir.
He was in the Merchant Navy and left the ship in Australia. He later moved to New Zealand.
In Wellington, in 1935, John married Ellen Keay Fraser from Wellington, ex Perth, Scotland. John and Ellen settled in Wellington and they had three children.
