Angus, born 1842, was a son of Malcolm and Rachael nee Mackenzie, Croir. He relocated with the family to 3 Hacklete in 1880 but he was resident at his brother's home, 4 Kirkibost, at the time of his death.

Angus was a compulsory attendance officer for Bernera school; he was unmarried.
