55119: Finlay Macleod

Finlay, born c1836 in Barvas, was married in Croir in around 1875 to Marion Mackenzie. They lived in Croir until it was cleared in 1880 and, according to local tradition, relocated to Benside in Laxday. They had the following children:

Finlay was the subject of the song Fuilleagain, written by Marion’s brother-in-law John Smith.
