Calum John Macdonald

Calum John (1910-1989) was a son of Malcolm Macdonald and Isabella Maciver, 52a Balallan. He served with the Cameron Highlanders during the Second World War, being posted in the UK, North Africa, Italy and Austria. He was awarded the Military Medal for his service in North Africa. Calum married Margaret Macphail, 22 Benside, Stornoway and raised two children. He was a stamper with the Harris Tweed Association.
