James Mackenzie

James, son of Roderick and Christina Mackenzie, 54b Balallan was a piper with the Seaforth Highlanders in the UK and Far East during the Second World War. He married Joan Macdonald, Bernera and resided at Newton Street, Stornoway. James was a pattern weaver in Kenneth Mackenzie's mill in Stornoway.
