Mary Ann, born c1899, was the eldest child of George and Ann nee Martin, 10 Hacklete. She spent many years on the mainland in domestic service before returning to the family home.Neither Mary nor her sisters were married; they informally adopted Jean Ann Macaulay, a relative.
Mary was killed in a car accident in Breaclete c1954.
