Margaret, daughter of Kenneth Matheson and Flora Macdonald, Plockton was the wife of Donald Macrae, headmaster of Balallan School. They had six children: John (1875); Jessie Ann (1876-1932); Catherine (1879); Flora (1881-1943); Alastair (1884) and Andrew (1888).
