Iain Thormoid Mhurchaidh
John (1788-1875) was a son of Norman Macmillan and Christina Macleod. It is not clear where the family were living at the time of his birth.
By 1814 they were settled at 12 Old Eishken.
In Lochs, in 1820, he married Christina Kennedy, 11 Old Eishken. John and Christina settled at 11 Old Eishken where they had four of their seven children.
In 1835 the family were moved to 4b Old Lemreway and in 1843 they were moved to 17 Crossbost.
