John Angus Murdo Chisholm (1894-1914) was a son of Angus Chisholm and Isabella Macleod, 8 Lemreway.

He served in the 1st Battalion Cameron Highlanders, Service Number 3/5442, in the First World War. John Angus was killed in action at La Bassee, aged 20. His name is commemorated in  Loyal Lewis: Roll of Honour 1914-1918, on the Le Touret War Memorial, France, the Pairc War Memorial and the Lewis War Memorial in Stornoway
