59117: Catherine Macmillan
Catherine (1850-1938) was a daughter of Donald Macmillan and Mary Nicolson, 7 Old Steimreway.
The village was cleared in 1857 and the family were removed to 14 Lemreway.
In Lochs, in 1871 she married Norman Nicolson, 21 Lemreway. Catherine and Norman settled at 21 Lemreway and they had eight children.
Catherine was an untrained midwife for the village.
She was widowed in 1928.
