Angus Macdonald
Angus, born 1895, was the eldest son of Malcolm and Mary nee Macaulay who lived at 25 Valasay before settling at 20 Hacklete. During WW1 he served with the R.M.B.; was wounded at Gallipoli and awarded Mons Star.
He moved to Newcastle where he worked as a civil servant; was married and raised two daughters.
