Catherine (1846-1924) was a daughter of Neil Nicolson and Ann Macinnes, 6 Old Steimreway. The family were moved to 21 Lemreway when Steimreway was cleared in 1857.
In Lochs, in 1872, she married Malcolm Nicolson, 24 Lemreway. Catherine and Malcolm settled at 20 Lemreway and they had ten children.
