Malcolm (1838-1927) was a son of Neil Nicolson and Ann Macinnes, 6 Old Steimreway. The family were removed to 21 Lemreway in 1857.
In Lochs, in 1863, he married Catherine Campbell, 28 Lemreway. Malcolm and Catherine settled at 27 Lemreway and they had eight children.
Malcolm was widowed in 1881 and in Stornoway in 1885 married Margaret Mackenzie, 3 Crossbost. Malcolm and Margaret had three children.
