Allan (1826-1914) was a son of Donald Macaskill and Ann Macmillan, 4 Old Gravir at Tumanuadan. In the 1852 Lotting the family obtained 17 Gravir.
At Stornoway, in 1856, he married Catherine Macmillan, 14 Gravir. Allan and Catherine were Cottars at 34 Gravir and they had five children. Allan later inherited 17 Southside, Gravir.
He was widowed in 1901.
