John (1925-2007) was a son of John Macleod and Catherine Macdonald, 4 Mangersta. John served in the Royal Navy during the Second World War and a record for him can be found in the Roll of Honour 1939-1945.
He married Bellann Macleod, 5 Lundale and settled at 14 Ardroil. They had one son and four daughters.
