Catherine Ann, born 1906, was the youngest daughter of Donald and Ann nee Mackay, 6 Lundale. After her father's death the family relocated to 12 Linshader. Catriona worked as a cook at Grimersta lodge and was married to the gamekeeper, John Gillies. They raised one daughter Cathy Ann.

After retirement they settled at Garynahine.
