63199: Duncan Maclennan

Duncan (1776-1855) was a son of John Maclennan and Christine Mackenzie. He was born at the head of Loch Shell and married Margaret Mackenzie. They were evicted from Southern Park and became the first tenants of 18 Marvig. They had six children.

He married his second wife, Ann Macritchie of 40 Gravir in 1834.

The Maclennans were said to have come from Argyll originally and Duncan was one of the six kelpers listed at Marvig in 1810.
