Finlay Smith (1854-1935) was a son of John Smith and Catherine Smith, 19 Marvig.
At Stornoway, in 1882, he married Marion Macleod, 24 Cromore. Finlay and Marion settled at 19 Marvig where they had six of their nine children.
The family moved to Stornoway around 1897 and settled at 7 Pringle’s Court.
