Kenneth (1833-1894) was a son of Angus Macdonald and Ann Macleod, 30 Ranish.
He came to work for George Campbell, 5 Marvig as a young man. His parents decided to emigrate to Canada and their ship called at Marvig to pick up Kenneth who was out on the moorland at the time. The ship would not wait so Kenneth was left behind at Marvig. George Campbell and his wife adopted Kenneth.
At Lochs, in 1868, he married Isabella Mackenzie, 13 Marvig and was widowed the following year. In 1871 he is a boarder at George Campbell at 5 Marvig.
He married Jessie Morrison, 7 Marvig who had also worked for George Campbell. Kenneth and Jessie initially lived at 5 Marvig and later settled at 21 Marvig. The couple had one son, George.
